Hi, I’m Sonia, receive a warm Welcome to Leading Forward.
After 15 years in operations, sales, commercial roles, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the HR world for 5 years, understanding it while partnering with senior leaders and executives running business, shaping its forward-looking strategy and building the teams the future of business needs.
Completing 20 years in the Oil & Gas/Energy industry with a very holistic view, leading and partnering with global teams, from Venezuela, Germany, Argentina, to Norway, I learned that technical skill gets you titles. Leading people is a different skill entirely, and most of us are never actually taught it.
In parallel to my professional experience, I invested heavily in my education, finalized three master’s degrees, a certification as a brain coach, certification through Maxwell Leadership, and years spent building expertise in cross-cultural awareness and inquiry-driven leadership.
Leading Forward is where I bring all of that together, practical guidance for closing the gap between having a title and working with people who want to work with you, not people who just have to because of the role you just got.
